De camera is eenvoudig te installeren en vereist geen ingewikkelde configuratie. De gratis UCARE Cam-app, beschikbaar op Google Play en de Apple App Store, maakt op afstand bekijken op smartphones en andere mobiele apparaten mogelijk, overal en altijd. Als de camera een beweging detecteert wordt er een kennisgeving per e-mail of app verstuurd. De camera beschikt over twee-weg audio waardoor deze geschikt is om te gebruiken als babyfoon.
